MARY MARTIN, PT, DPT
Mary was raised in Billings, MT and attended the University of Montana-Missoula where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Human Performance-Exercise Science and a minor of Gerontology. Mary also graduated a University Scholar through the Davidson Honors College. She attended Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and settled in Scottsdale for the following years working in an outpatient and inpatient hospital setting. She became certified in aquatic treatment, gained experience in teaching community aquatic classes for arthritic populations, NDT (Neurodevelopmental treatment) gait training, and assisted with balance and fall prevention community clinics. Mary just moved back to Montana in September 2019.
Mary has continued her interest in treating the geriatric patient and will be working toward board certification in Geriatrics (GCS) this next year. She also has interest in vestibular treatment, manual therapy, and treatment of orthopedic dysfunctions. Mary enjoys yoga, hiking and a new love of getting out on the water on her paddleboard! She has combined her love of travel with other passions, and went to Guatemala for a physical therapy medical mission trip, and to the Dominican Republic to teach vacation bible school through her church.
