MARY ARMSTRONG, PT, DPT, GCS
Mary was raised in Billings, MT and attended the University of Montana-Missoula where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Human Performance-Exercise Science and a minor of Gerontology. She attended Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and settled in Scottsdale for the following years working in an outpatient and inpatient hospital setting. Mary moved back to Montana in September 2019.
Mary became a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist in June 2021 with an interest in helping our community stay active for life. She has special interest in working with patients that have vestibular (vertigo) symptoms, imbalance and have a high risk of falling. Mary completed the Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Competency-Based Course offered by Duke University April 2022. Mary treats all diagnoses, including orthopedic and neurological conditions. She incorporates manual therapy, all things balance and strengthening, and yoga into her clinical practice. She completed her 200 hour teacher training in the spring 2022 as well and is a registered yoga teacher RYT-200 with Baptiste and Bhakti focus. Mary enjoys yoga, hiking, cooking and paddle boarding with her husband.
